Sure doesn't look like anything from the outside but give it a chance. Very basic decor but impeccably clean. The food is traditional diner breakfast and lunch fare, but of a much much higher quality than most. Very quick attentive service and always served hot.
We love this place! My husband orders the Chef's Mistake, a full breakfast including eggs, toast, hash browns, bacon AND sausages. It's a plateful. I have their mushroom and Swiss burger which is large, tasty and comes with a mountain of fresh, hot fries. I add a side of gravy. Prices are lower than at equivalent restaurants. Service is always friendly, fast and efficient. I highly recommend this place.
Great food. Very consistent. The only place I go for breakfast.
I understand that this place is in small-town alberta but the menu could stand to be a little more diverse. Though, it does have a fair amount of breakfast standards, pancakes, waffles, bacon, eggs and...that's about it. I'm sure there isn't too much demand for something different and certainly I wouldn't really recommend changing things up significantly but for those looking for something more adventurous won't find it here. But what's here is reliable and comfortable. Though, it would be nice if they used fresh fruit instead of canned especially since most of what they're offering is in season right now.
